We checked out of the Palmer House, and Doug drove us to Milwaukee. Before we left Chicago, we had lunch at the aforementioned Rock 'n' Roll McDonalds. It's not such a big deal - the place is full of r'n'r memorabilia, but the food remains the same.
When we got to Milwaukee, the first thing we did was head downtown:
...to pick up some sausage and cheese from a place Doug knows. I can't remember its name; it featured a mural on the outside, showing a bunch of elves making sausage and cheese:
We also visited the Spice House, across the street; we have since ordered things from them from time to time.
A couple of miscellaneous pictures:

We stayed with Mark, a friend of Doug's; I don't remember his last name. He works as a school psychologist during the school year, and sells beer at Brewers games during the summer!

That evening, we were joined by Wes and Bev, more friends of Doug's (that's Wes, Doug and Terry in the picture; I don't know what happened to Bev):
...for a barbecued sausage lunch.
We then drove around Milwaukee, and Doug showed us where he grew up. Later, we passed something that looked interesting, so we stopped. It turned out to be a Greek festival; we ate some Greek food and listened to some Greek music.
Our last day. In the morning, we strolled around the park on the shores of Lake Michigan. Then Doug drove us back to Chicago, where we caught our flight home. Here's one last picture of Doug and Terry at the airport:
