As always, this trip log starts with a page of general information, how we happened to go on this trip, and other self-indulgent ramblings. To skip the intro and go straight to the pictures, click here.
One fine day, Terry informed me that she had gotten a sales pitch for what seemed like a really good deal. For a payment of just $538, we would get a a three-day, two-night cruise to the Bahamas, PLUS two nights in Ft. Lauderdale, PLUS two nights in Orlando, PLUS a bonus four-day vacation in Puerto Vallarta, PLUS a bonus three-day vacation in Las Vegas!
Sounds too good to be true, right? That's what I thought. But she'd already signed us up, and paid for it. We could have gotten out of it - there was a three-day right of refusal - but we checked it out, and it seemed legitimate. So we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best.
And it turned out to be okay. As of this writing, we haven't taken the cruise yet, but the Puerto Vallarta trip was as promised - although we did have to endure a time share sales presentation. And there were a few other rough spots, mostly of my own making. Still, it was a fun trip overall.

Note: In my trip log from our last trip to Mexico, in 2008, I made many observations about the country that I won't repeat here - if you're interested, you can read that trip log here.
