Happy Valentine's Day!
Before we left, I had bought a small heart shaped box of chocolates that I planned to give Terry on Valentine's Day. Alas, I forgot to pack them. So I picked up another heart shaped box of chocolates at the airport (See's, of course), and gave that to her instead.
Not too much happened on this day. In the morning, we had breakfast at a panaderia (bakery), and then did a little shopping at a supermercado (oh, come on, do I really have to translate that word?). And then we went back the resort and spent most of the afternoon lounging in the hotel swimming pool. Which featured a swim-up bar:
Then, in the evening, we went for a nice Valentine's Day dinner at a nearby seafood restaurant, Ladi's:

While waiting to order, I thought I'd take a picture. But when I started to get up, I somehow got my feet tangled in either the chair legs or the table legs, and I went sprawling. There was no serious damage, but I scraped my left knee pretty badly. After I picked myself up, I managed to take this picture:
After dinner, Carlos and Ashley went off by themselves for a little while - and we left them alone, because we knew what was coming. Carlos proposed to Ashley, and she accepted. And here's the happy couple:
